Perfect! The Giant’s Causeway is on my list of things to see, so that’s convenient. This will be my first trip to the country – been hoping to visit all my life. The plan is to fly into Dublin and then just take off via rental care and tour the countryside. We’ve two weeks, but plan to make the most of it.
That’s exactly what we did, a rental car is definitely the way to go. Just be careful, many of the roads in Ireland are really, really narrow! Have fun!
Another beautiful photo, this is also an inspiration shot for an art quilt, with permission. I’m not sure which one I like the most, View on Dingle Road or this one.
Thanks for the great photoblog.
Wow shaun you are incredibly talented and Ireland is incredibly beautiful. I was just there in March, and i left something quite valuable behind……. my heart.
Where in the north of Ireland is this? I’d really like to know as I’ve a trip coming up. Thanks! Beautiful photo by the by.
Thanks! It was in Northern Ireland, near Ballintoy and the Giant’s Causeway. It’s incredibly beautiful there. The Giant’s Causeway is a must see. Here’s one of my pics of it: http://www.shaunkillenphotography.com/travel/giants-causeway/
There’s also the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge there: http://www.shaunkillenphotography.com/travel/mini-rope-bridge/
