A statue of the legendary hero Ogier the Dane, in Kronborg castle in Helsingør, Denmark. He’s asleep, but will apparently awaken when Denmark is in danger. I wouldn’t want to wake him. He looks pretty untimidating.

A very cool set of statues near the railway station in Wroclaw, Poland. They show various people either descending or ascending from the pavement, and is meant to honour citizens who disappeared during periods of martial law in the 1980s.
