Or, as it is more commonly known, amber. This particular chunk of amber is from a temporary display in the Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery in Glasgow.
Orange and Spikey

After a few black and white photos over the last week or so, I thought I’d post something with a bit more colour. This is some orange and spikey looking flower we saw at the Glasgow Botanic Gardens a little while ago.
Curvy Plant

A plant at the Glasgow Botanic Gardens, the name of which I can’t remember. I like how the curvy-ness of the plant makes it go in and out of focus in the different parts of the photo.
Drops and Bubbles

You can see all of the individual air bubbles within the water droplets on this plant leaf. In the big drop you can also see reflections of the ceiling beams in the large greenhouse at the Botanic Garden in Glasgow, where this picture was taken.
